Sonam Kapoor not only has a gorgeous face she also has a beautiful heart. She has been named the face of Elle's Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.



Sonam said, "One of my friend's mother had breast cancer and I have seen what she has gone through. Few women after menopause, tend to get susceptible to breast cancer and it is very important for them to be aware of the issue in order to cure it.

As a face of Elle in this campaign I will use my celebrity status to tell women to be progressive and not regressive."

Why Femina Miss India: It has always been a dream for me to do something for my country and winning this contest would give me my first chance to represent my country on an international level.

Role Models: As I said earlier...my country. This would give me my first chance to represent my country on an international level. So this contest itself is an inspiration for me.

Beauty to me is: I believe that it lies in the eyes of the beholder.

If I was given an evening with Brad Pitt I would... Auction for it and would donate the money for an international charitable cause.

If I win the pageant, I will... Not know what to do, as it has always been my dream. So it will be a dream come true and then I will gather my senses and call my parents as they are not going to be present there and will start preparing for Miss Universe in full force.

If I don't win the crown, I will... Think something better lies in store for me.

Tanvi Vyas, the leggy beauty has been brought up in Baroda in Gujarat, but originally hails from Rajasthan and she is proud to be a Rajasthani.



Tanvi is a graphic designer and totally devoted to her profession. She aspires to make a mark as a businesswoman one day. The pageant, she says, happened just by chance.

This Miss India is not aepiring for a career in Bollywood. “I am going to stick to my profession and have no tinsel dreams as of now,” she clearly declares.
