Miss World (Tourism) and former Miss India Sonal Chauhaan has all the guts to admit that she was just a beginner in Tollywood, but hopeful of a longstanding career here. “I am thrilled at Telugu film industry, which has its hoary past, recently celebrating its diamond jubilee. I know I am not working in an industry that has no history. It’s my privilege and honor to be part of Andhra Pradesh and to be entertaining its people.” Currently, this tall girl, with features resembling of a Greek sculpture, is doing the heroine for Rahul (call him Tyson of Happy Days) for VN Aditya’s latest film Rainbow. She was seen shuttling from makeup room to the shot location without putting on a single sign of tedium. Idlebrain met her for an exclusive interview. After Hrithik’s hip-hop dance number in Krazzy 4, it’s the return of the prodigal... the original Krazy Kat. Nandini Jumani is here to give the items girls a run for their money. Yes guys! Hold your breath, as Ms Jumani is all set to take your breath way in her new slimmer and sexier new avatar. Having lost oodles of weight, she has not only turned over a new leaf, but is also looking hot, sexy and oozing plenty of oomph. Do we see the men go weak in their knees already? Ms Jumani, a veteran with more than 600 stage shows across seven continents, is all set grab eyeballs with her sensual dance moves. She even had Shobhaa De floored by her dancing skill. “When I looked at Krazy Kat’s CV, I was totally floored,” remarked the author once. A compliment which moved the Krazy queen to tears. “It’s the biggest compliment I have received in my life,” says Nandini. For Nandini her journey to the world of Krazy Kat started when she bumped into filmmaker Sanjay F Gupta who offered her first music album ‘Bikini Lounge’. “That was Sanjay’s last video before he moved into filmmaking. In those days he used to make high profile albums featuring top actresses like Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and other top models,” Nandini says, “It was India’s first stylised album featuring all the top models of that time.” Next, she was roped in by the leading music company T-series that started the Krazy Kat series with her. “It’s been a rollercoaster ride ever since and appreciation has been pouring in from everyone, but I have more to me than just item numbers. Next in the pipeline is a big film, but I can’t talk about it right now,” she reveals. So this summer the mercury is going to rise for sure as ‘NJ’ prepares to reveal her latest series of Krazy Kat dance moves! We are floored already!
